Who we are
Chill Welfare CIC was established as a social enterprise in 2015 in response to drug related deaths at music events and the changing trends in the use of alcohol, poly drugs, club drugs and legal highs.
Our main aims are to keep people safe by reducing the harms caused by alcohol and other drugs, support mental wellbeing and promote sexual health. We recognise that some people use substances at music events and might at times be in need of support because of what they have taken.
We accept that some people choose to take drugs and we believe it is important that they have the information they need to keep themselves out of harm. We view substance use as a public health issue and pride ourselves on offering informed, non-judgemental harm reduction advice and support. We educate people on potential drug harms and focus on ways to reduce the risk to themselves and to others, should they choose to use.
